Circle in the Square Theatre School's primary objective is to train actors and singers for work in professional theatre, film and television with traditional and experimental approaches to dramatic presentation. Our programs provide individual attention in small classes, with a faculty composed of the finest actors, directors and master teachers available in the New York theatre. The program is designed and structured to help each student develop technique and style, with primary emphasis on the development of both intellectual and physical aspects, so that the actor can achieve a successful interpretation of a role and work effectively as an ensemble member. Upon completion of the program, you will have the range and ability to perform varied styles so your talents can be drawn upon to support the outstanding tradition of performance for which both Circle in the Square Theatre and the Theatre School are renowned.We believe strongly in an eclectic curriculum in order to expose the students to various acting styles and different viewpoints. The vision and concept of each program's tonality and structural whole are vitally important and have been developed by a combined effort of faculty, administration and advisors.
